MILITARY POLICE OFFICER AMONG THOSE BUSTED

Local police authorities in Texas say they have busted more than a dozen Army soldiers, including an MP major and a master sergeant, after running a two-day sting in the Fort Hood area.
A spokesperson from the Bell County, Tex. Sheriff's Office tells MilitaryCorruption.com the alleged offenders have all been released on bail ranging from $1500 to $2500 each. They were nabbed at hotels in Killeen and Salado after answering online advertisements that promised sex for money. The price was $60 to $200, depending on the sex act and amount of time involved.
Whatever the charge, the real cost will come to the accused when they likely face punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Maximum penalty for prostitution or patronizing a prostitute is a dishonorable discharge and one year behind bars.
NOT THE FIRST TIME AT FORT HOOD
A partial list of 13 Army personnel arrested include MAJ Donta White of the 89th Military Police Brigade, Warrant Officer 1 Greg Hughes, CW2 Ernest Grant, M/SGT Stanley Ervin, two staff sergeants - Carlos Castillo and Michael Culpepper, SPC Jimmie Joinar, PFC Adrian Upshaw, and PVT Xavier Horne.
This isn't the first time Fort Hood people have been in the headlines regarding prostitution. We ran a story in 2013 (see related stories below) on a SFC whose job was "sexual abuse instructor." He ended up busted for just that - sexual abuse.
The senior non-com was also prosecuted for running a prostitution ring on Fort Hood. Sources told an MCC reporter the whores were pimped out from attractive young female enlisted soldiers.
