This is a declaration of war. And it's long overdue.

We want to warn you - our dear readers - not to do business with Bank of America. If you have a CD, a savings or checking account, have stock in BofA, or plan to use them in any real estate transaction, or take out a loan, be advised, you could be letting yourself in for a great deal of trouble.

Let us know your Bank of America "horror stories" and join the BOYCOTT of these "banksters" that we have launched as of Dec. 1, 2012. Hit them where it hurts, and do whatever it legally takes to grab their attention. Send us the sum total of stock sold and funds withdrawn or otherwise sent elsewhere to their competition. We will keep a running tab, with the goal of costing BofA $1 million a month!

MilitaryCorruption.com has been online for more than 12 years, and in that time, we have become a "brand-name" in military journalism. We are read daily at the Pentagon and get up to six million hits a month, worldwide. That's power!

Well, let's use that influence to prevent active-duty military members, Guard and Reservists, and retirees and their families from being "ripped-off" by an uncaring, unfeeling corporation whose size is such they can - or think they can - operate with impunity.

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT FILES $1 BILLION LAWSUIT
AGAINST CROOKS AT BANK OF AMERICA

We want to bring your attention to the fact that the U.S. Justice Department has launched a $1 billion lawsuit against Bank of America for fraud and corruption.

The Associated Press reported it best, so with credit to AP, we will briefly quote from their nationally-distributed news story of October 24, 2012. Here it is:

NEW YORK (AP) - The top federal prosecutor in Manhattan sued Bank of America for more than $1 billion on Wednesday for mortgage fraud against Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the years around the financial crisis . . ."

The lengthy article went on to talk about "fraudulent conduct" and "widespread falsification of data."

When an AP business writer sought reaction from Bank of America, he was told "no comment."

Well, we wish to comment. And that is, run, don't just walk away, but run from any business dealings with these people. We know how arrogant and unfeeling they can be.

INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER SPOTLIGHTS FRAUD
AT BANK OF AMERICA

So does respected investigative reporter Matt Tiabbi, writing in ROLLING STONE. He said:

" . . . Bank of America has 'defrauded everyone from investors and insurers, to homeowners and the unemployed,' So why does the government keep bailing it out?"

Taibbi tells of how, in 2008, BofA received a $45 billion taxpayer bailout. He reports: "Fraudulent practices by Bank of America and other companies have ravaged our nation's pension funds."

With a thank-you to Matt and his magazine, we want to quote at some length from his outstanding expose' of March 14, 2012. Here it is:

The Obama administration has looked the other way as BofA committed an astonishing variety of crimes - some elaborate and brilliant in their conception - some so crude that they'd be beneath your average street thug.

BofA has systematically ripped off almost everyone with whom it has a significant business relationship, cheating investors, insurers, depositors, homeowners. shareholders, pensioners and taxpayers.

It brought tens of thousands of Americans to foreclosure court. It hawked worthless mortgages to dozens of unions and state pension funds, draining them of hundreds of millions in value. And when it wasn't ripping off workers and pensioners, it was helping to push insurance giants like AMBAC into bankruptcy by fraudulently inducing them to spend hundreds of millions insuring these same worthless mortgages.

But despite being the very definition of an unaccountable corporate villain, BofA is now bigger and more dangerous than ever. It controls more than 12 percent of America's bank deposits (skirting a federal law designed to prohibit any firm from controlling more than 10 percent) as well as 17 per cent of all American home mortgages.

By looking the other way and rewarding the bank's bad behavior with a massive government bailout, we actually allowed a huge financial company to grow so big that its collapse would imperil the whole economy, and to get away with any and all crimes it might commit. Too Big to Fail is one thing; it's far too corrupt to survive.

All the government bailout succeeded in doing was to make the bank even more prone to catastrophic failure - and now that catastrophe might finally be at hand. Bank of America's share price has plunged into single digits, and the bank faces battles in courtrooms all over America to avoid paying back the hundreds of billions it stole from everyone in sight.

THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT BANK OF AMERICA
FILED WITH THE RIPOFFREPORT.COM

We share many readers with the outstanding web site RipoffReport.com. MCC invites you to go there and check out the literally thousands of complaints filed against Bank of America for their alleged corrupt and criminal business practices.

Some of the subject headings are as follows:

BANK OF AMERICA CALLS COPS ON UNSUSPECTING
DISABLED WAR VETERAN IN MAINE

For sheer arrogance and inhumanity, try and read what follows here as to BofA's cruelty, and not throw-up.

We know of an elderly, disabled war veteran who walks with a cane - his terminal health condition is well known to the bank employees, as he used their branch for 18 months - who was so abused and traumatized by the bank's "bully-boy" tactics. he almost died later that day.

This longtime customer, who'd had his checking account arbitrarily closed without advance notice - checks bounced everywhere damaging his reputation, to say nothing of his wallet - entered the BofA branch in Maine not knowing that Bank of America had exercised it's right - read the fine print - to "terminate" his account without explanation, and at any time they choose.

When the pain-wracked veteran - who had suffered a near fatal seizure in church just ten days before - arrived at this particular branch, he chose to sit down in a chair in the lobby and wait for the line of customers at the teller window to thin out.

He sat there in full view of at least three bank employees who knew him for several minutes when suddenly, he was confronted by a shouting, menacing police officer, who, with several other cops, burst into the lobby, announced to the startled vet he was guilty of "trespassing," and said they were there to "remove" the old man "from the premises."

At that moment, and at no time prior to arrival of police, did any employee of the Bank of America branch have the decency to warn the customer that his account had been closed and his business no longer wanted. They let him be "set up" for a traumatic and humiliating experience (in front of other citizens) that nearly cost him his life.

Taken out of the lobby, flanked by police as if he were John Dillinger, apprehended for trying to rob the place, the war veteran was ordered to place his wallet and pocket contents on the front hood of a police cruiser - one of three that had pulled up to the front of the bank in full view of passersby.

"You don't have an account here anymore. They don't want you here, and if you come back, you will be arrested," he was warned.

An outpatient at the VA hospital, who, besides his serious physical condition, also suffers from "severe PTSD" due to nearly three years combat duty, the veteran attempted to drive home despite the trauma he had just been put through.

"I started to have problems breathing and felt chest pain," he said. The former Bank of America customer pulled his car off the highway and sat still for a few minutes, praying he wouldn't die right there. When his heart stopped racing and his breathing returned to normal, he drove back onto the highway and, with tears in his eyes, completed the lonely journey to his home, hardly believing the evil that had just been inflicted on him.

A couple days later, able to make a phone call, he contacted Bank of America headquarters and told his story. He explained the terrible injustice done him and the harm inflicted on him financially, as well as to his reputation, but after a series of calls with various officials over a period of time, he was in essence told BofA would accept no responsibility for what had happened, offer no settlement whatsoever, and in effect, to simply go to hell.

LET'S FIGHT BACK!!!! Isn't it time WE told THEM where to go?

You can do that by pulling your money out of Bank of America and reporting the totals to us. You can also volunteer for picket duty at selected BofA branches, where you can generate media coverage as to the many abuses Bank of America perpetrates on the public each day.

MilitaryCorruption.com wishes to thank the individual members of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, DAV, Jewish War Veterans, and Vietnam Veterans of America who have already expressed support. We need all the help you can give us.

The motto of our free, "for the troops" website is "FIGHTING FOR THE TRUTH - EXPOSING THE CORRUPT."

Let's do just that. Send this article far and wide - to your local BofA branch, your members of congress, media outlets, and veterans organizations. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper. Show Bank of America for what it is.

Remember, the only way evil can prevail, is if good men do nothing.

Thank you.
