| "MAY SHE ROT IN HELL FOR ALL THE SUFFERING Copyright © 2010 MilitaryCorruption.com Holly Graf, the female "Captain Bligh," is highly disliked and even hated by many Navy women. They feel the foul-mouthed martinet, relieved of command of the USS Cowpens for "cruelty and maltreatment of her crew," has set back female advances in the Navy for many years. The correct, or stereotypical image of the "man-hating bull-dyke," is not the view the vast majority of qualified and hard-working women want projected. They've had a difficult enough time trying to break through the Navy's institutional bias and the proverbial "glass ceiling" to have the bizarre antics of "Horrible Holly" Graf undermine years of effort. And some of Graf's toughest critics come from the feminine gender. WOMEN TOUGHEST ON BAD BEHAVIOR BY HOLLY GRAF For example: Retired LCDR Mary Kirby, who wanted to "go on record" about Graf, commented on how she was "sorry Holly had not been stopped a long time ago." Kirby, a SWO and former enlisted sailor, minced no words when describing how Holly "clawed and climbed over a large pile of bodies to get to the top." "She was very arrogant and believed her promotions and career were owed to her because of who she was," the officer said. Kirby suggested Graf "retire as soon as possible." The courageous officer told us the best thing for everyone would be if Graf left the Navy, "the sooner, the better." But perhaps the most scathing description of the "screaming shrew" came from a woman who served on ship with Holly when both officers were new lieutenants. "It didn't take long being with her to see she was unstable," the former officer, who asked to remain anonymous, recalled. "I felt compelled to take the matter to the XO, and he to the captain. Unfortunately, nothing happened, and word got back to her what I'd done. That was when she went off on me. That wacko made my life miserable. "Her mental illness was very evident to me during the time we were room-mates aboard ship. But Holly was the fair-haired girl and Naval Academy graduate who was destined for great things, whether she deserved them or not. The Navy saw to that. Shame on all her superior officers for writing her up in glowing fitness reports. That enabled Graf to brutalize other people. She seemed to enjoy inflicting punishment on people below her rank. "May she rot in hell for all the pain and suffering she inflicted on others. The Navy needs to put her in jail for the crimes she committed all these years," the female former officer said. DWINDLING "SUPPORT" FOR HOLLY GRAF - THE DIE IS CAST - About the only remaining support Holly has, comes from a powerful group of lesbian senior officers at the Pentagon, "The Sisterhood." To them, Holly can do no wrong, and is being unfairly treated. But neither Holly's big sister, Rear Admiral Robin Graf, nor anyone else at the Pentagon, can save her from what likely will be a forced retirement. The big question remains - at what rank will Graf collect her pension? The regulations say it must be at the grade last "satisfactorily" served in. If they follow that to the letter, Graf might go out the door as the oldest retired "ensign" in the Navy! Keep clicking on MilitaryCorruption.com for all the latest news in the Graf case. We will be addressing the retirement issue in an upcoming article. [EDITOR'S NOTE: Speaking of "articles," The Associated Press finally corrected the serious factual error they made in the lead of their Graf story of several days ago. At that time, they sent their thousands of client newspapers a story in which it said in the very first sentence that Graf had been "demoted." Wrong! The proper term would be "relieved of command." A big difference. Graf is still a captain in the Navy. She has not lost any rank, at least not yet. Anyway, we spoke to a top executive at AP and as to be expected, he backed up his imperious reporter Anne Gearan. In an e-mail sending the "incorrect" article to us, we had to chuckle. The senior Associated Press executive spelled article as ARTICAL. Maybe they need some more copy editors over there.]
