Roxanne Fricke died a violent death in a Virginia Beach, Va. parking lot in 1988, and now, nearly 22 years after her contract murder, her husband, who admitted he hired out her death, has died himself in a bloody attack at the Leavenworth DB. The case is still under investigation, but initial reports said the former Navy lieutenant commander was killed as the result of a fight with another inmate.
Fricke, a prison trusty, was 54 years old. He passed away July 29, five days after being hit multiple times by a fellow prisoner. The alleged assailant, whose identity has not been released, was seen arguing with Fricke on a secured ball field at the prison, then striking the former Naval officer several times in the head with a baseball bat.
The victim's family decided to take Fricke off life support at a nearby hospital and he expired a short time later, according to USDB spokesperson Rebecca Steed.

Often, it takes years for the truth to come out, especially when the real facts could put top brass in a bad light.
Such is the case of the famous "Christmas" bombing of Hanoi. There's no question "Linebacker II" helped drive the North Vietnamese back to the negotiating table in Paris and likely shortened the war. But the eleven nights of bombing raids on the Communist capital, beginning Dec.18. 1972, which cost 15 B-52s shot down or crashed trying to return to base, could have been a defeat for the United States.
Enemy gunners couldn't believe their good luck when the second and third night's raids used the very same flight plan, level of approach to bombing run, and identical turn. It was like picking off ducks in a shooting gallery. Surviving bomber crews, watching their colleagues shot down in flames by a hail of SAM missiles, bitterly complained about the senseless and stupid tactics.

They're keeping their heads down and watching what they say at National Guard headquarters in Wisconsin in the wake of news that Guard boss, Brig. Gen. Donald Dunbar, is the object of an Air Force Inspector General investigation.
"We're hoping Lt. Col. Jackie Guthrie (Guard spokesperson) gets a look-see, too," said an officer who wants to remain anonymous.

The theft went off like a well-planned military operation.
On a quiet weekend in early March, a red Lincoln Navigator pulled up at the iGov. Technologies office in Suite 110 of the corporate center at 9211 Palm River Drive in Hillsborough (Tampa) Florida. Surveillance cameras caught seven men piling out of the vehicle and climbing up on the roof.
The investigation, which was hushed up until now, showed the gang cut their way through to the iGov. facility and, working for nine hours, with two semi-trailer trucks backed up to receive the loot, made off with more than 3,000 laptop computers plus other electronic equipment.

Retired Navy LTCDR Rebecca Dickinson is a very lucky woman. The former part-time whore for the "D.C. Madam" and "ethics" instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy, is laughing all the way to the bank, realizing she could have been court-martialed and booted out of the military with no pension or benefits.
When you "turn tricks" with powerful men, including perhaps, a few foreign agents as well as top-ranking Navy officers and at least one very big shot guy in the Bush Administration - he's an unashamed war profiteer - you live a dangerous life. We've all known them - brass hat's wives who wear their hubby's rank and make life miserable for lower-ranking troops. Well, if an on-going Army investigation is on target - and we hear it is - Leslie Drinkwine could be a subordinate officer's worst nightmare.
The shrew-like spouse of COL Brian Drinkwine, commander of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Div. at Ft. Bragg, N.C., not only threw her weight around and threatened her hubby's underlings, she allegedly made good on promises to inflict punishment on them. Both the colonel and his wife deny any such thing.
But LTC Frank Jenio and his CMD SGT MAJ Herbert Pickett were relieved of command during deployment to Afghanistan. The "official" reason given was both men supposedly used "poor judgment" which, and we quote, "fostered a command climate inconsistent with Army values." Translation: The charge could be and was, as frivolous as being nailed for spitting on the sidewalk. If they want to get you, they will always find a way.

In three years, Lt. Col. Tom Mayer, commander of the North Dakota Air National Guard's 119th Wing Medical Group, would have been eligible to retire at three-quarters pay. As a Guard member all this time, he would have drawn a big pension check at age 60. Now he is facing ruin.
The popular doctor and leader of a group at the Guard called "The Happy Hooligans," is due in Cass County Court in Fargo July 22 to face two felony charges. Meyer is accused of sexual relations with a 16 year-old boy he said he met on the Internet. The veteran officer told investigators he thought the lad was at least 18.
The 45 year-old director of anesthesia at a local hospital is charged with "corruption or solicitation of minors" and "dissemination of obscene materials." When police raided his home, they are said to have discovered nude photos Meyer and his "victim" had exchanged.

He only has himself to blame. Stanley McChrystal thought sucking up to Barack Hussein Obama would help him, but when all was said and done, it was the general's "poor judgment" that did him in. Hanging out with a known leftist reporter for "sex, drugs and rock and roll" magazine ROLLING STONE is not just stupid, it was suicide.
"I voted for you," gushed the lanky military man when ushered into the President's presence for all of 10 minutes last fall, the first time he was "called to the woodshed." Talking out of turn happens to be a habit with McChrystal, and Obama wanted to be sure that his much-decorated flag officer didn't get off script again. He made him sweat for a while as he dithered over sending 30,000 or 40,000 more troops into Afghanistan.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal has been fired. The top general in Afghanistan who embarrassed and angered his boss in the White House one time too many was told in a face-to-face meeting that he has been replaced.
The tall flag officer with the "deer-in-the-headlights" eyes didn't know that minutes before, President Barack Hussein Obama had offered his job to Gen. David Petraeus, and that the successful leader of the Iraq "troop surge" had accepted. While a certain amount of groveling will take place when Gen. Stanley McChrystal is summoned into Barack Hussein Obama's presence Wednesday, the President is "angry" and must exert his authority, there's one important card the controversial flag officer can play.
Obama doesn't want to be perceived as weak and indecisive on prosecuting war policy in Afghanistan. When he was a candidate, it was easy to win votes with vows to "get out" of Iraq and Afghanistan. All he had to do was call it "Bush's war" and throw rocks from the sidelines. But now it's clearly HIS mess to handle. Not since Gen. Douglas MacArthur defied President Harry Truman during the Korean War, has an American commander in the field so openly criticized the occupant of the White House. In a stunning, and frankly nonsensical "on the record" interview with left-leaning ROLLING STONE, Gen. Stanley McChrystal threw down the gauntlet in front of Barack Hussein Obama and created a situation where the former community organizer from Chicago will have to fire his top general in Afghanistan.
First of all, let us say that McChrystal is no Gen. MacArthur, and God knows, Obama cannot remotely be compared to that great man from Independence, Mo. As much as we disagree with Obama's dithering and shameful "apology tour" slamming the USA around the world, the general knows full well you do not openly break with your commander-in-chief unless you are ready to resign or seek retirement from the military.

Remember that old line, you know, the one that goes like this: "Just move right along folks, nothing to see here, nothing happened, just move right along." That might as well be the top Air Force brass, busy trying to put a spin on what is a major embarrassment and could even be a serious risk to our national security.
Seventeen Afghan military officers and enlisted men studying English at the Defense Language Institute at Lackland AFB in San Antonio have gone AWOL. Not in a mass desertion, but one-by-one. Over a span of some 18 months. And now is the first time we, the American people, have heard about it. Was there a cover-up here? Well, is the Pope Catholic?
At a time when our enemies vow to destroy us, we can't take any chances. If just one of the 17 missing men proves to be a terrorist "sleeper agent," now gone to ground, heads should roll at Lackland and the Pentagon. One who won't is dim-witted Homeland Security Chief Janet "the system worked" Napolitano.
