We've seen a lot of lies and BS in our time, but the newly-released 15-6 investigative report on the death of GEN John Rossi, takes first prize, and is an insult to the intelligence of a moron.
Maybe we shouldn't be surprised, after all. This will be the last service-related cover-up of the odious Obama regime and its boot-licking flunkies and frauds who brought us near-destruction of the military in our country.
Even an idiot would not believe the bull-crap the Pentagon is trying to foist off on all of us. And if you, dear reader, think we've been told the truth about why a two-star general, 48 hours from being promoted to the lofty rank of lieutenant general, would suddenly hang himself and leave no suicide note behind for his beloved family, we have swamp land in Florida and a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you, real cheap.
COVER-STORY FALLS APART
By all accounts we have received, GEN John Rossi was a highly respected career officer, a man of high intelligence who, at the relatively-young age of 55, was about to pin on his third star as commander of the U.S. Army's Space and Missile Defense Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Like the "Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963" fiction, the powers-that-be have concocted what they think is a plausible story - as in "plausible denial" - that frankly, is absolutely implausible and full-of-holes.
One line from the lies makes us gag. " . . . (Rossi) didn't think he was smart enough for the job." Everyone who contacted us who served with him over the years commented on the general's high intellect, confidence, and dedication to duty. It is an insult to his memory to try and push such a "dog ate my homework" story like that.
As an NCO and then officer, who served over a span of 33 years in the active Army, Guard and Reserve, I was privileged to have been personal aide to the late GEN. Peter E. Genovese Jr. I know something about flag officers, their capabilities, and lack of same. My many years as a public affairs officer and instructor taught me how the top brass lie and deceive. There were times I was ordered, let us say, to be "less than candid," and I had to do what I was told. There was no other choice.
WAITING FOR THE TRUTH TO BE TOLD
Our sympathies are with GEN Rossi's wife and family, but we also know that Mrs. Rossi's fervent claims that "lack of sleep" and "fear of failure" were the real reasons her husband killed himself - if indeed he willingly put his neck in the rope's noose - don't add up.
Could that be a cover story to conceal something else - like the female U. S. senator from Maine who suddenly quit a cinch re-election race to drop out and practically cede the seat to a Democrat masquerading as an "Independent?" This was right after receiving a phone call from the Justice Dept. about her onetime governor-hubby who'd gotten himself in a big jam. Some insiders say she got "an offer you can't refuse." To this day, that senator still goes around claiming her sudden discovery that there was "gridlock in Washington" caused her to quit in disgust (after spending 35 years there in elective office), cost the GOP a sure seat in the U.S. Senate. We didn't buy it then, and we sure as hell don't now.
As to Rossi, we've checked and double-checked with our C. I.'s, investigated leads from outside, and accepted anonymous messages claiming everything from the general hung himself in an effort to "get off" via autoerotic asphyxiation, he was "murdered for some reason,", to he killed himself because he'd (allegedly) gotten a female soldier pregnant, and his wife was about to divorce him.
The real story has yet to be told, but it sure isn't this absurd kettle of fish the Pentagon is trying to peddle. That isn't worth the paper it is printed on.
