"MORNING JOE" SHOULD BE RENAMED "MORNING

We have little use for the likes of Joe Scarbrough. Elected to Congress in 1994 as a firebrand conservative from Florida's "Redneck Riviera," he has now morphed into a very well-paid Trump-basher and pseudo-Republican on the MSNBC program "Morning Joe."
If you can stomach Scarbrough's supercilious, know-it-all manner for three hours, or even three minutes in the morning, you can see why a more appropriate title for the failing show would be "Morning Jerk." That, Joe most certainly is.
Regardless of one's politics - Democrat or Republican - there was a time, a little over a year ago, when Joe and his blonde bimbo girlfriend (and soon-to-be third wife) Mika Brezinski bellied up to the bar at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago private club in Palm Beach for the free booze.
What exactly caused the falling out between the onetime GOP congressman and newly-elected Republican President, we have no idea. But Scarbrough is so petty in his criticisms of everything Trump says or does, that the program is frankly, unwatchable.
TWO SIDES TO EVERY QUARREL
But the Donald hasn't been blameless, either. We call the shots as we see them here on MCC, so when Trump recently tweeted about Joe and an "unsolved mystery" back in the sunshine state, we started digging.
The President didn't mention the name Lori Klausutis, the ex-congressman's aide in his Fort Walton Beach office, who was found nude and dead there back in 2001. The official story was that the attractive 28 year-old had a heart condition that caused her to fall and strike her head against the corner of a desk, killing her.
The inference from Trump's tweet, is Scarbrough might have had something to do with the girl's bizarre death - he raised eyebrows in his district when he suddenly announced he was resigning from the House of Representatives to "spend more time" with his family.
But it' has been some 17 years now since the strange death took place, and aside from some Internet theories, nobody has come up with what actually happened. We think it is a safe bet that Joe Scarbrough may indeed be a sneering asshole, but he's no killer. He didn't murder Lori Klausutis.
