NO "STAR" IN HIS FUTURE - MARINE COLONEL ON

When Tampa Police arrested Marine Col. Kevin Scott after he offered an undercover officer $80 to perform a certain sex act on him (best known to Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky), he stammered he was "retired and no longer in the Marine Corps."
Maybe the 51 year-old senior officer was just being prophetic. Odds are the active duty Marine on TDY at CENTCOM won't be in the Corps much longer. And when he does put in his papers, there's a chance his stupid mistake could cost him "big bucks." Col. Scott well knows the regulations read an officer can only retire in the last grade "satisfactorily" served in. And the colonel has disgraced the Marines and been a very bad boy.
If he thinks he's in trouble now, wait til his wife files for divorce. They've been married more than a decade, so under the law, she can walk away with half of his pension check. The question remaining is, will that be an 0-5 light colonel check, or one for the full colonel he is (at the moment)?
TOUGH SHERIFF IN (TAMPA) TOWN
The Marine Corps had no comment for MilitaryCorruption.com. Neither did Joint Staff at Suffolk, Va. where the Marine veteran of 33 years service was assigned.
Scott had the misfortune of hunting up a hooker in Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd's territory. The two-fisted, "tough-guy" lawman, a popular Republican in the area, says his "Operation No Tricks, No Treats" nabbed nearly 300 johns.
"We had to call the government and say, 'Hey, would you like to come and get your leased car, "Judd told reporters, "'cause your colonel is on his way to the county jail."
As of press time, Col. Scott was out from behind bars, having posted a $500 bond. That is chump change compared to what his poor judgement will cost him for the rest of his life.
