The story of the sex assault prevention chief and Air Force colonel who was busted last weekend for allegedly grabbing a female victim by the boobs and buttocks may have just got weirder.
Sources tell MilitaryCorruption.com the location where cops arrested Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski is right next to the well-known Freddie's Beach Bar and Restaurant, which features female impersonators on Saturday night.
According to some media reports, which didn't refer to Freddies, the "groping" took place on the sidewalk in front of a Thai food restaurant on 23rd Street South in Crystal City.
DID COLONEL REALLY GROPE A "GUY?"
Krusinski supposedly was apprehended in a nearby parking lot. There seems to be some confusion as to where the 'sex assault" took place. In the parking lot, or outside the Thai eating spot, with Freddie's right next door.
"In his drunken state, the colonel might not have realized he was grab-assing a tranny instead of a real female, and got smacked down hard for his mistake," a source said.
We want to emphasize, no witnesses have placed Krusinski inside the gay bar that night, nor is Krusinski rumored to be a switch-hitter. But, the incredibly unlucky colonel could have really stepped in a cow flap if it turns out the so-far unidentified "victim" was in actuality, a guy in falsies and wig who could throw a hard punch.
The embattled Air Force Academy graduate (Class of 1994) was scheduled to be arraigned on misdemeanor sexual battery charges Thursday afternoon.
