THROW THE BOOK AT THIS PHONY VETERAN

It was bad enough that Robert A. Livingston lied about being a Vietnam veteran when he successfully ran for mayor of Lakeland, Minn. in 2012. But we now know that this slimy politician also defrauded the Veterans Administration out of some $140,000 in taxpayer's money.
An eagle-eyed VFW member noted Livingston's DD-214 looked like it could be a phony. That, and other fraudulent military documents, tripped up the phony, fake and fraud. This week he appeared in federal court in St. Paul to admit his crimes and is waiting to see what a judge will decide - a fine, prison time, and full restitution of the undeserved monies.
According to court documents, Livingston scammed more than $110,000 worth of medical care and some $27,200 in "disability" payments from the V.A.
Elected mayor in 2012, Livingston didn't run for another four-year term. We noticed local press accounts of his fraud - notably on TV station KSTP in St. Paul - neglected to list what political party he belongs to, But its a safe bet he isn't a Republican, because if he was, that would be up in headlines otherwise..

John does a great job exposing frauds and wannabees who steal valor from real combat veterans who don't lie, cheat and steal benefits from the bureaucratic Veterans Administration.]
