Super-feminists and man-haters in and out of the AIr Force rejoice!

A fighter pilot and former I.G. at Aviano Air Base in Italy just had his life ruined on the basis of "she said/he said" testimony. No corroborating witnesses or forensic evidence. None needed. This was "political correctness" at it's very worst. Where an accusation is as good as a conviction.

A 49 year-old physicians assistant claimed Lt. Col. James Wilkerson slipped into bed with her while she was a guest in his home and "gasp" - "fondled" her breasts. He even, allegedly, put his finger where it shouldn't have gone, and "voila," he is court-martialed, goes to prison, and is dismissed from the Air Force. Good-bye pension and benefits.

AIR FORCE EATS ITS OWN

Even if true, and we tend to doubt it, does this "crime" deserve that much punishment?

Remember former Air Force chief JAG, the odious Gen. Thomas J. Fiscus? That creep admitted to sex with more than a dozen women under his command. He rewarded his playmates for their favors with promotions and plumb assignments. One female major warned a wing commander that he'd better "get along" with her or else she'd have to sic "Tom" onto him.

And what happened to this flag officer? No preliminary hearing, no nasty court-martial. The hypocrite legal officer got to retire with a lower rank and pension. He's still laughing all the way to the bank.

ANOTHER NOTCH IN HIS BELT

Some of us should be crying, at the lack of justice in the Wilkerson case. Will chief prosecutor Col. Don Christensen now get promoted to brigadier general? The "PC" crowd must be so pleased with him.

What will he say if someday it comes out Wilkerson's accuser is a psychotic liar? Anything's possible. Will the bird colonel regret destroying a man's life and career on the basis of "she said - he said?"

It helps, when you're an ambitious Air Force JAG prosecutor, to have no conscience. No "guilt" when you carve another notch in your belt and another "victim" is ruined.
