As if the Navy didn’t have enough trouble and bad publicity from the far-ranging “Fat Leonard” bribery case, the worst is yet to come.  Count on it.

MilitaryCorruption.com has learned from a source close to the investigation of two members of Seal Team Six in the strangulation killing of Army Green Beret S/SGT Logan Melgar, that both “persons of interest” will be charged with homicide and face court-martial.

The case is sure to become a media circus, as the reasons Melgar “had to be silenced” are revealed.  We can tell you now that the honest Special Forces NCO discovered his roommates (in U.S. Embassy housing at Bamako, Mali) had been stealing money from an “informant” fund.

When the sergeant confronted CPO Adam Matthews and Petty Officer Tony E. DeDolph – a former professional martial arts fighter – and refused to join in the scam, his fate was sealed.

CAUGHT LYING AFTER RESULTS
OF AUTOPSY COME BACK

An autopsy showed that the 34 year-old Green Beret died from “asphyxiation.” In other words, he was strangled to death.  The doctor labeled the death “probably homicide.”

SEAL DeDolph aroused investigators’ suspicions right away when he claimed he discovered Melgar’s lifeless body when he returned to his quarters.  The evidence was overwhelming that the Green Beret didn’t “off” himself.  The next lie was that DeDolph and Matthews were “rough-housing” and wrestling with Melgar when he suddenly went unconscious from a “headlock.”

But MCC has found out the two SEALS were finally caught when they insisted S/SGT Melgar “had been drinking” the night of his death.  The Green Beret’s wife and fellow soldiers told the CID the Lubbock, Tex.man didn’t drink at all.  Plus, the autopsy showed no trace of alcohol in his body.  As of press time, both SEALS have been returned to the States and placed on administrative leave.
