A MESSAGE TO OUR READERS Earlier this month, we at MilitaryCorruption.com announced on this page that we are planning a series of articles entitled "MURDER IN THE MILITARY." Longtime readers are aware that since we went online July 4, 2000, we have done numerous hard-hitting investigative pieces on the slayings of such people as USMC Col. John Sabow; Navy CPO Tom Traylor; and the mysterious and bizarre death of Air Force Col. Philip Shue in Texas. Well, we have been literally "swamped" with e-mail on this subject from our readers and it is very plain to see that a great many members of the military and also veterans and retirees, are starved for more news about how the brass gets away with such obvious crimes. We apologize to those of you who haven't been able to get through to us in recent days. Rest assured we are aware of other equally egregious cases of killing and cover-up, such as the Army National Guard captain (Gordon Hess) who was viciously stabbed 27 times on a running trail at Ft. Knox, Ky. and to this day, the Army claims he committed "suicide" because he was "depressed." Also, the incredibly horrific murder of Army PFC LaVena Johnson, whose body was mutilated and an attempt made to set her remains on fire. The CID claims she committed "suicide." Actually, she was raped and killed. MilitaryCorruption.com intends to highlight such troubling cases and bring considerable pressure to bear on otherwise useless politicians like Missouri Congressman William Clay and the "long-on-promises but short on action" Sen. Claire McKaskell. If these "public officials" get buried under a pile of re-prints of our articles as we go into each and every case, they won't be able to ignore those in the military who cry out for justice! And remember, we are getting ready to drop "the big one" in regard to the Maj. Jill Metzger cover-up. Time is running out, and if we were the pampered and protected former two-time Air Force Marathon winner and poster girl, we'd be contacting a lawyer pronto to try and find a way to pay back what she has received so far on a so-called "disability" related to hers dubious "abduction" two years ago in Kyrgyzstan. We are not accusing Metzger (yet) of engaging in pension fraud, but we do feel the Air Force, which has not issued an official statement about Metzger's veracity (or lack of of same) in over two years, know what Jill's actions has cost them to date. We are told the "tab" runs into the millions of dollars. |
