ATTENTION ON DECK! This is an appeal to all U.S. Navy chief petty officers, past and present, who may have served with the late CPO Tom Traylor, last stationed at the little-publicized China Lake Naval installation in California. Chief Traylor paid with his life for what he knew. In the days before his slaying, he realized he was a marked man. As you read our previous articles, you will see there is no way he would have or could have shot himself as the Navy and Kern County Sheriff's Dept. would like you to think. Charlotte Traylor, the chief's wife, who is determined to get to the bottom of what really happened, was told about her husband's death by a neighbor! Why didn't she rate the decency of a visit from the chaplain and a ranking officer? Why did the brass treat her like a pariah after she started asking pointed questions? The answer is obvious. This is no "little woman" who will quietly "go away"
and keep silent in fear the SGLI (Serviceman's Group Life Insurance")
might be denied her. It can't, and it wasn't. Mrs.Traylor paid
for an independent autopsy on her husband out of her own pocket.
She knows the so-called self-shooting of Tom Traylor was staged and
in no way charecteristic of the man. We are investigating several new leads in the case and are determined to follow this up for as long as it takes. Remember, MCC just won a huge victory over the thieves at Carlisle Barracks who attempted to steal and failed to keep a valuable commemorative .45 cal handgun owned by a former aide to Gen. of the Army Omar Bradley. In a tremendous victory for the First Amendent and free speech, we caught one of Donald Rumsfeld's flacks sending us unsigned, profanity-laced e-mails, after we publicly called for his megalomaniacal boss to be fired. We tracked down and confronted the culprit - dim-witted Navy Lt. Cdr. Daniel Hetledge - and after chewing him out via telephone, demanded and got a written apology from his superior officer. The cowardly lt. commander was soon shipped out to DINFOS where he hopefully will do less harm to the Navy's image. We published the apology, the offensive e-mails and the identity of the moron who thought he could intimidate us while hiding behind "anonymous" attacks. The Pentagon press office was NOT pleased! As will those responsible. The "perfect crime" has now come unravelled. Maybe we ought to send them DVD copies of "DOUBLE INDEMNITY" for Christimas, with instructions to pay special attention to the scene at the end of the film where co-conspirators Barbara Stanwyck and onetime lover boy Fred MacMurray fatally shoot each other in a cloud of suspicion as to who will "rat out" the other first over insurance fraud. There are several other big stories in the offing. So have hope, readers. We are here, and we're here to stay, having been favorably written up by The Associated Press and STARS & STRIPES in the same week, the mainstream media is paying close attention to what we say.
