VETERANS ADMINISTRATION COVER-UP CONTINUES
© 2016 MilitaryCorruption.com
Take a look at the hard face of the imperious V.A. regional director to the right of our lead paragraph. Just don't do it if you're eating food. It might come back up in a hurry.
This creature is named Kimberly Graves, and it is the first time we've used her fierce puss on our pages. It was bad enough when we (see related stories box below) featured the fat mug of her "fellow" grifter, Diana Rubens.
Faithful readers of MilitaryCorruption.com will recall Rubens is the Philadelphia regional director who scammed a nearly $300,000 travel allowance for moving less than 100 miles. Along with her, came her live-in lesbian lover, whom she picked up in Phoenix some years ago. Now, that gal pal has rocketed from GS-7 to GS-15 at the V. A. Strictly "on merit," of course.
ROBERT McDONALD WORST V. A. DIRECTOR YET
Don't hold your breath waiting for Veterans Administration boss Robert McDonald to do the right thing. He didn't get off to a very good start after Hussein plugged him in as Eric Shinseki's long-overdue replacement. McDonald got caught lying to a real Green Beret that he too, was in Special Forces. The Obama butt-kisser is a West Point graduate all right - for whatever that is worth these days - but he never qualified as a Green Beret.
McDonald's chief flunkie, Deputy Secretary Sloan Gibson, has just slapped all veterans everywhere across the face with his ludicrously light "punishment" of a lower-level official who should have been fired.
We're talking about Danny Pummill, who replaced disgraced V. A. Benefits boss Allison Hickey after she suddenly resigned last September. Hickey is a retired brigadier general and graduate of the Air Force Academy.
NO REAL "PUNISHMENT" AT ALL
In a BS press release March 23, Gibson said Pummill will be suspended two weeks without pay for his "alleged" lack of oversight in the Rubens and Graves case. We're sure those two weeks on the street without a check won't make much of a dent in Pummill's wallet.
As for the two pigs, who - between themselves -,scored more than $400,000 in "moving expenses, they will get to keep the loot while supposedly forfeiting a paltry 10% of their already bloated annual salaries. No wonder they laugh each time they go to the bank.
Gibson rubbed salt into the wounds of veterans everywhere when he said "We have reinstated Diana Rubens and Kim Graves to their positions as regional office directors, and I have been encouraged by their immediate efforts to get back to work. Ultimately, that is what these decisions are about: getting back to the work of serving America's veterans."
Here's what American Legion National Commander Dale Barnett had to say about that: "V.A.'s failure to fire Rubens and Graves is an insult and disgrace to all veterans."
Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, told us "I have no hope the Department will do the right thing and take steps to recover the more than $400,000 Rubens and Graves fraudulently obtained."
[EDITOR'S NOTE: -- What V.A. director in a northeastern state and two chief henchmen will have to answer questions from the FBI in the near future? What goes around, eventually comes around, as they will soon find out.]
