BACKGROUND AND INFORMATION:
Monica Witt was born in El Paso, Texas and right after high school she entered the United States Air Force at age 18 in 1997. She ended up serving approximately 10 years in the Air Force rising to the rank of Technical Sergeant (E-6).
During the last half of her active duty status, she became an agent in the “Air Force Office of Special Investigations” (AFOSI). She was assigned to the 2nd Field Investigations Squadron at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C. She had access to SCI and HCS controlled materials.
“Sensitive Compartmented Information” (SCI) is a type of United States classified information concerning or derived from sensitive intelligence sources, methods, or analytical processes. All SCI must be handled within formal access control systems established by the Director of National Intelligence.
Although some sources refer to SCI control systems as special access programs, the intelligence community itself considers SCI and SAPs distinct kinds of controlled access programs.
SCI is not a classification. SCI clearance has sometimes been called “above Top Secret,” but information at any classification level may exist within an SCI control system. When “decompartmentalized” this information is treated the same as collateral information at the same classification level.
“HCS” is the HUMINT (Human-source Intelligence) Control System. This system was simply designated “HUMINT” until confusion arose between collateral (regular) HUMINT and the control system. The current nomenclature was chosen to eliminate the ambiguity.
Eligibility for access to SCI is determined by a “Single Scope Background Investigation” (SSBI) or periodic reinvestigation. Because the same investigation is used to grant Top Secret security clearances, the two are often written together as TS/SCI.
Eligibility alone does not confer access to any specific SCI material; it is simply a qualification. One must receive explicit permission to access an SCI control system or compartment. This process may include a polygraph or other approved investigative or adjudicative action.
But, with all this knowledge, skills and training her country paid for and entrusted her with, she wanted a different life. Monica Witt, according to our government, apparently preferred to wear a hijab or burka, betray her country and live in beautiful Iran.
MONICA WITT BECOMES A TRAITOR?
We are led to believe from our sources that Monica Witt became a turncoat and defected to Iran to help our enemies destroy us. It’s always possible that any government you talk to these days is lying for nefarious reasons. It could be Monica was trained to defect and enter the dangerous and dark world of espionage as a double agent.
But on the other hand, Monica could very well have sold us out for a little tiny apartment in Tehran and an even smaller Iran government-issued paycheck. If she indeed became a true Benedict Arnold and gave the Iranians, who gave the Russians and Chinese our most closely guarded secrets, then it won’t be long before extreme forms of terrorism arrive back on U.S. soil.
Frankly, why people have not crossed our porous southern border and set the timer on a suitcase nuclear bomb in one of our most populated cities is still a mystery. The money is there to do it. The hate is there to do it. Why it has not been accomplished yet is truly a mystery. And when it does happen, you know certain segments of our news media with blame it on their favorite whipping boy, President Trump.
For now we cautiously believe our government about Monica’s defection to Iran. Monica Witt allegedly hated America and defected to Iran providing them with a plethora of information severely damaging the United States. On a scale of zero to ten, with ten being the absolute worst damage any traitor could do, Monica topped out at about level eight on the Richter scale.
Witt’s damage to America ranks right up there with the infamous 1985 Walker family of spies. The Secretary of Defense at that time concluded that the Soviet Union made significant gains in naval warfare attributable to Walker spy ring. The information John Walker gave Moscow allowed the Soviets “access to weapons, sensor data, naval tactics, terrorist threats, and surface, submarine, and airborne training, readiness and tactics.”
American military members are in more danger NOW because of Monica Witt’s decision to provide Iran our most sensitive military secrets. Her damage to America is similar in many ways to the Walker spy ring that gave Russia so many of our military secrets 35 years ago.
TIMELINE:
1997 – Monica Witt graduates from high school in El Paso, Texas and joins the United States Air Force. Right off the bat, the Air Force sends Monica to the Defense Language Institute (DLI) to learn to speak the primary language of Iran (Farsi).
1997-2003 – Witt served as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist
2003-2008 – Witt became a Special Agent with AFOSI and traveled to Qatar, Jordan, UAE, and Tajikistan and became desk officer for two compartmented intelligence programs.
2008 (May-Nov) – Witt was employed with defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton as an Intelligence Analyst, where one of her key job elements, according to her resume, was to provide linguistic and cultural support as a subject matter expert on Iran.
2010 – Witt went back to school at George Washington University in Washington D.C., and graduated in 2012 with a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies. While in school, Witt worked as an Iraq Fulbright Intern. Her undergraduate degree was from the University of Maryland.
2011 – Witt participated in the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that swept the country in August-September and may have participated in the D.C. protests in November 2011. It was during this time when Witt is believed to have been spotted by American-born Iranian journalist, Marzieh Hashemi who was the television news anchor for Iran’s state-run Press TV.
2012 – Witt travels to Iran to attend the “Hollywoodism” conference which served to criticize the U.S. film industry’s portrayals of Islam and Iran. Forty-eight international guests attended the conference, of which Monica Witt was one. While at the conference she was identified as an Air Force veteran and appeared on videos making statements critical of the United States. These videos were broadcast throughout Iran. AS A SIDE NOTE: the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad honored Sean Stone, son of filmmaker Oliver Stone who had become a Shiite Muslim.
2013 (February) – Witt once again attended another “Hollywoodism” conference where she once again participated in several video that were extremely critical of the United States. She inquired about emigrating to Iran.
2013 (June 30) – Witt walked into the Iranian embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan and “volunteered” her services to Iran.
2013 (August 28) – Witt officially defected to Iran where she has been providing the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) with a treasure trove of information about sources and methods of the American intelligence community.
The IRGC-QF division is responsible for “unconventional” warfare activities including assassinations and cyber-espionage. Witt assisted the IRGC in actively targeting her former colleagues. She compromised two TOP SECRET – SAP (special access programs), which were targeting Iran and identified by name clandestine sources of U.S. intelligence operating in and against Iran.
2018 (February) – A grand jury charged Monica Witt with conspiracy to deliver and delivering national defense information to representatives of the Iranian government, as well as aiding and abetting. Remember the old saying, a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich.
Whether Monica Witt is a true turncoat or a double agent sent into the belly of the beast to gather information about the Iranian intelligence service is unknown. All we know at this point is the American government has labeled her as a traitor who has sold out her country and levied charges against her.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Who in the world knows what is really going on? If Monica Witt truly became a traitor defecting to Iran America and the damage to America is as great as is being reported, you know Russia and China received all the information she gave the Iranians within about ten minutes of her divulging intelligence information.
Our intuition tells us that at some point before she defected to Iran, a group of spooks had a meeting about Monica. It could have been that certain people in our intelligence community were deeply concerned that Monica was potentially a prime target for being recruited by Iranian agents.
It’s possible there was a discussion to strip Monica of her clearance and access to highly secret and sensitive information. It’s also possible Monica was allowed to retain her clearance because…. wait for it…. because she was a woman.
That’s right, it’s highly likely that because people in our intelligence community probably wanted to remain “politically correct,” little Monica was able to continue along her career path without interruption gathering more and more sensitive intelligence even though her supervisors knew she posed a very high risk.
It begs the question; how many people were tortured and murdered because of the information that Monica Witt shared with America’s enemies? How many of our or servicemen and women are in (more) danger because of the damage Monica Witt did to America?
Are you are going to recommend military service as an option to your son or daughter? You had better think about that. Think about that recommendation very carefully. We think that no one should consider military service until the military addresses major problems in its justice system which allows the admirals and generals to retire to avoid prosecution.
Being sold out by spies, and by people who allowed those spies to “get away with it,” is just another reason not to risk your life by joining the military. Can you imagine being ambushed and slaughtered, because people in the Intel community don’t have the courage to challenge the political-correct bullshit that has paralyzed our so-called military and civilian leaders from doing their jobs properly?
If Monica Witt is indeed a traitor to American; that’s one thing. But, having people let her get away with it because they didn’t want the “Me Too” movement interfering or curtailing the careers of intelligence professionals, is another thing that is just as bad.
Think about these things when you wake up one morning to find out a terrorist cell had detonated a nuclear weapon in New York City killing and injuring millions of Americans.
Unfortunately, this monumental betrayal of America by Monica Witt is not nearly as important to our society and our news media as some stupid actor (Jussie Smolett) who conjures up a hoax in Chicago by acting out a beat-down, then scratching his face and putting a noose around his neck.
Our instincts tell us this was all carefully orchestrated to help his good friend Kamala Harris in her bid for the Presidency. We believe this stunt was to help Kamala Harris roll out her support for slave reparations as she does and says anything she can to garner votes for her nomination to be the Democrat nominee for the 2020 election.
Make no mistake about it, America is in great danger – from within and from without.
